Service and amenities were top notch. The floating docks are some of the finest we've encountered. The facilities were clean and quite serviceable. My only comment would be to remove the claim on your website and the brochure provided in the welcome bag of discounted Maryland Athletic Club (MAC) day passes as that arrangement is no longer valid. When we inquired at the MAC, they were gracious enough to extend to us a free day pass. We thanked them by purchasing another day at full price.

We requested prior arrival to be assigned slips next to our traveling friend's boat. Dockmaster would not accommodate our request. They indicated there were no available slips - however, there were many empty slips available during our stay. In addition, there were no available guest keys to the facilities. On the positive, the dock hands our professional and marina in a great location for the July 4th celebration.

A generally well run place in an urban downtown environment. Friendly efficient dock hands helped us tie up and connect to power. Everything very clean and neat. Convenient location near restaurants and a Whole Foods supermarket -- indeed, may be the only full size supermarket within an easy walk of a marina in all of Chesapeake Bay! Also a wide selection of restaurants although this downtown waterfront area tends to have upscale clientele and upscale prices. Security in area is good, but attention may be necessary at night of you wander off on foot in directions without "local knowledge". One odd problem encountered: went to marina's off/rest rooms in an office building, accessible with key card, next to docks at 7:30 AM to use head. Both men's room toilets lacked toilet paper at that time and none seems available in remaining open area before staff arrived later!! Thus you might want to bring your own TP if you visit head at an odd hour when staff is gone.

This is not my first time staying here. I returned because of my positive experience with the staff and the great location. With this visit, I was not disappointed. Again, the staff were excellent. The facility is clean and well taken care of. And the location is great. If I had to make any complaint, I would say that there was a boat of 'party people' making noise on another dock. I didn't hear them from my boat, but I noticed something similar with my first visit.

Friday night was great. Saturday was nice and peaceful. But Sunday was horrible! The marina rented out the picnic area near my slip to a private party that was absolutely blasting horrible music before 12:00 PM, so for those of us who return to the boat for an afternoon nap.... that was impossible.... there was no peacefulness.... we were driven out of the marina early on Sunday which shortened our trip by half a day or more. The marina needs to be more selective on who they rent that area to and have more ground rules on how loud the music is because it disturbed me so much that we had to take the boat and leave the marina.

We’ve docked here several times over the years, and it is an excellent marina. We typically see a concert close by at Pier Six Pavilion when we’re here. It’s gated, clean and the staff is friendly. Restaurants and shopping are close by, as well.

We like to visit 3 to 4 times a year and during the off season. I think you need to invest in a power washer and use an electric pump that can go in the water to feed the power washer to keep the piers clean during the winter months when the city water is shut off. We like to visit but the seagulls make a lot of mess that you have to walk thru to get to the boat.

Our experience at your marina was wonderful. Here are some high points, 1. You have floating docks!!!!! Why the rest of the Chesapeake doesn't go to floating docks is beyond me. This is THE reason we were here. 2. The facilities. Some of the best on the bay. 3. Your staff!!!!!! Everyone we came in contact with were very accommodating, understanding and professional. They are your biggest asset. 4. The tent in the middle of the marina. We had our group dinner under the tent and had a great time. Finally, I just want to say thank you, for helping to make the Chesapeake Catboat Association annual cruise a very memorable experience.

Good facility close to downtown Baltimore and Fells Point. I would suggest that they colocate their recycling bins next to the "Rubbish" bins otherwise it's very possible to not know they exist. It's unfortunate that due to issues beyond their control the area had a large amount of debris in the water.

Natalie and the two gentalmen who assisted her were three of the nicest people we had met in a long time. We always enjoy staying at Harbor East Marina. It's within easy walking distance of Inner Harbor shops and restaurants, Little Italy, the Inner Harbor (aquarium, science center), and along the waterfront if you are a walker or biker. There's a water taxi stop nearby if you want to use that mode of transportation. The staff is on top of things and knowledgeable about boats, so they can help get you into the slip if you need help. Once you've reserved your slip online, you get a confirming email. A few days before arrival, you get another email with instructions, and a slip assignment if they can give you one.

Shore power is very sensitive to ground fault detection. I have had no problems at my home dock and several transient slips but could not connect at the Harbor East Marina.

Due to the GFCI upgrades on our pedestals, our marina's power pedestals are equipped with a sensitive ground fault protection system, which can cause some vessels with internal current leakage to have issues with holding dock power. Our team does our best to help boaters test and troubleshoot this issue if it arises and did so in this case. We have followed up with the boater directly regarding this as well. We hope to welcome this boater back in the future!

Secure marina facility with very helpful dock staff. The "flag system" is very helpful for ease in finding the right dock. We were there for Independence Day and the fireworks were spectacular. Boaters lounge is convenient and dog friendly. We spent time there in the AC during the hot summer days. Close to restaurants and we even found a movie theater nearby, what a great perk for a hot afternoon entertainment.

Really nice marina, and the location could not be any better. Everything looks new and clean and neat. The staff, was very helpful and courteous. Beautiful marina and surrounding area. The problem was access to electrical. Me and several in my traveling group couldn’t use the electric or were limited. I had to use the generator all weekend and would like a refund for electric.

I arrived early evening after marina was closed. They told me the marina code to get in was a certain set of numbers which was not correct. So I ended up locked out for a period of time until another boater let me in. I did end up seeing a keycard in my bag that was left for me but had no idea about that until after the fact. I trusted the key code would be valid, so I did not bring the key card with me when I left. Secondly, the slip was on row H. I know it is Baltimore city, but there was a lot of trash and debris, that was pretty gross along with a film on the water in the slips of row H. I had planned to sit on the boat there and relax but it was gross. I noticed that slips not on row H seemed to be free of debris. Not sure what if anything can be done but in the future I would not recommend row H to other boaters even though it is the closest row to land.

Harbor East is in a perfect location. You can walk to Little Italy, Fells Point, get on a water taxi across the harbor, or just walk around Harbor East. The marina has floating docks, dock hands who know what they're doing, and generally very friendly people.

Prince William Yacht Club visited HE for two nights midweek. Located halfway between Aquarium and Fells Point. Friendly dock staff to direct and tie up 8 boats. New Floating docks. All nearby the "Party Pad" a central deck with a sunshade and picnic tables for gathering, docktails, meals. Secured by fence with Cipher lock. New Bath house/office/CAPT Lounge on boardwalk. $5 pump out at your slip. Close to restaurants, hotels and grocery and downtown. No Fuel or Pool. Reasonable slip fees.

Immaculate marina with exceptional service, attentive staff, and clearly a solid base of leadership. Beautiful Ipei wood floating docks. Central location in the middle of the action and a short walk from Fell’s Point. The central plumbing for pump out is plumbed to every dock, so an easy evolution to roll the hose near your boat, connect to the dock piping and quickly do pumpout. Clean showers and bathroom, and a very nice lounge. Not a negative, but beware that your boat’s electrical system will be tested by the hyper-sensitive shore power breakers. Even though the code requires 100mA GFCI, this marina like so many new ones have chosen the more sensitive GFE breakers that trip at 30mA. Our 2005 Legacy has an isolation transformer, but we still tripped the breaker and had to run our generator at night. Just means I am about to spend a lot of $$ chasing a ground so I can come back to Harbor East soon.

This was our first time staying at this marina in Baltimore. It was fantastic. Excellent floating docks. Dock hands were very helpful getting us tied up. Excellent facilities. Great location at the Inner Harbor. We'll definitely be back.

Really nice lounge and shower/restroom facilities. Great location giving access to everything around the inner harbor and affords close proximity for a dinghy ride around the inner harbor at night to see the skyline lit up.

This was my 1st time visiting the Marina and I had a fantastic experience. The marina crew was there to welcome us and help with lines and power. The facilities were clean and accommodating and the floating docks helped to make the 4 night visit even more pleasant.

One of the best marinas I have docked at. Staff is great. GM Mike is on top of everything making sure you are well taken care of. All floating docks and very secure. Walk to 30+ restaurants. Location is in the middle of everything Baltimore has to offer.

Clean, safe marina for boaters wanting to explore the Fells Point area. Very accommodating with various requests (keeping boats traveling together at the dock). Loved having a pump out at the dock! Dock hands were knowledgable and available. Only negative was the surface material the docks had created fibrous splinters. So wear shoes for sure.
